Probes

With our Vectoflow cooler probes, we offer a simple way to equip a cooler with probes to measure the total mass flow and mass flow distribution through a cooler.
The cooler probe measures the total pressure and at the same time the static pressure of the flow. Multiple probes distributed throughout a cooler can measure the partial mass flow through the assigned section of the cooler to determine flow uniformity.

The probe is easy to use because it can be placed on the radiator so that it sits just in front of the cooling fins. This minimizes the blockage created by the probes. In this way, the probes can be easily removed and reused without damaging the cooler.

Details

The probes are manufactured using our innovative additive manufacturing method, allowing great flexibility in design and size. This means that the probe design can be adapted to individual requirements. We recommend calibrating the probes in relation to the mass flow mounted on the cooler.
